The face of Govia Thameslink Railway  has been was charged with a drink driving after police spotted her drunk and swerving across the road in her vehicle in South Wooden Ferrers. Thirty year old mother of one Abby Rose Boon from Clements Green Lane South Woodham Ferrers blew more than double the limit on Tuesday 8th July 2020 when she failed the breath test giving a reading of 85mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.   Face of Govia Thameslink Railway has been was charged with a drink driving after police spotted her drunk and swerving across the road The Luton-based passenger host who has worked on the railway for 13 years, has also been the face of many advertising campaigns held by Govia Thameslink Essex Police said: “This car raised our suspicions after we saw it swerving across the road. “After stopping the car, we arrested the driver when she failed a breath test.” The legal limit is 35mg. She was kept in overnight due to the excessive reading. She has since been released on bail to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates court on the 26th September 2020 at 10am. A delay has been caused by the outbreak of COVID19. Boon now faces court later this month where she could get 6 months’ imprisonment, an unlimited fine or a driving ban of between 17 – 22 months. Govia Thameslink Railway have been approached for comment.
