The London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed that they were called to the scene shortly after 5:30pm on 11 May following reports of a knife attack on the busy southeast London road.
A LAS spokesperson said:
“We were called at 5.33pm yesterday (11 May) to reports of a stabbing in John Wilson Street, Woolwich.
We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and members of our tactical response unit to the scene.
