RAGING INFERNO Residents Urged to Keep Windows Closed as Fire Breaks Out in Barham

People in Barham, near Canterbury, are being urged to keep their windows and doors closed due to a significant building fire that broke out on Valley Road this morning.

According to Kent Fire and Rescue Service, five fire engines are currently at the scene, where crews are working hard to contain and extinguish the flames.

Smoke Warning Issued

Heavy smoke has been reported in the area, prompting fire crews to issue a public health advisory to residents and motorists in the vicinity.

“Crews are advising people living or travelling in Barham, near Canterbury, to keep windows and doors closed due to heavy smoke coming from a building fire on Valley Road,” a fire service spokesperson said.
