Tragic Motorcycle Collision on A21 Claims Life
Fatal Collision on A350, Chippenham: Police Appeal for Witnesses

A man has been detained following a deadly crash on the A21 at Whatlington on Monday morning.

Authorities responded to an emergency call at about 7:25 AM regarding a multi-vehicle collision on Vinehall Road. The accident involved a black BMW, a grey Honda Jazz, a white Nissan, and a gold Triumph Bonneville motorcycle.

Tragically, the motorcycle’s 57-year-old rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 35-year-old BMW driver from Bexley was arrested on charges of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail while the investigation continues.

Police are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. Information can be sent to [email protected], referencing Operation Bowden.
