A Resident Left Very "shaken Up" After An Attempted Burglary In Polegate

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted burglary at a home in Polegate.

A suspect gained entry to the secure rear garden of a property in Old Drive and damaged a window to try and access the house.

It happened sometime between 9.50am and 11.30am on Friday (December 9).

While the efforts were unsuccessful and nothing was stolen from the address, the attempted burglary has left the occupants feeling very shaken up.

Officers are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area around that time, particularly any other residents who saw someone in and around their gardens.

Anyone with information or relevant CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 391 of 09/12.
