One Person left in Hospital after Wide Lane Southampton Crash

Fire crews from Hampshire Fire and Rescue, stationed at St Mary’s attended a road traffic collision at just before 6pm this evening(Sunday). Two cars were involved in the collision on Wide Lane in Southampton. One person had to excreted from one of the vehicle using specialist cutting equipment by the Fire and rescue service. The person cut free was left in the care of South Central Ambulance Service they were later taken to Southampton General hospital for treatment. Special replacement Bus services laid on for the engineering works at Swaythling where also effected and unable to call at the station as Police closed Mansbridge Road and Wide Lane
