Murdered schoolgirl Lucy is remembered by friends and family t Southampton schoolgirl Lucy McHugh was remembered today in a fundraising event in Southampton. Hundreds of people attended get together on at Mansel Park to honour the 13-year-old, whose body was discovered in woodland near Southampton Sports Centre on the 25th July 2018.     The event has been organised by Lucy’s mother, Stacey White, who is aiming to raise money for charity and keep her daughter’s memory alive. She said: “Lucy was very much a people person. She was friends with everyone she spoke to. She was the sort of person who, if she saw someone upset, she would stop and want to talk to them. Stephen Nicholson of Southampton is due to stand trial in June this year, at Winchester Crown Court.
