Man Jailed for Breaching Restraining order

A Man has been jailed by a court for breaching a court order. Thirty seven year old Kevin Snelling who gave his address of no fixed abode has been jailed for six month by magistrates in Portsmouth after breaching a restraining order on Monday January 2. The court heard that Snelling had entered a road in Fareham that he was prohibited from doing so in at attempt to contact his ex partner. Magistrate Mr N Wells hearing the court case felt that the breach was so serious that he should be jailed. The court heard Snelling had a record of violence and breaching court orders going back to 1997. Sending him to prison Mr Wells said had shown a blatant disregard for the order made back in January 2016. Snelling was also ordered to pay 115.00 Victim Surcharge by the court.
