11 year old boy killed on A27 near Fareham

Officers are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Titchfield in which an 11-year-old boy died. We were called at 4.26pm today (Monday 3 June) to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian in Southampton Road. The boy was crossing the road when he was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Mokka and a VW Golf. He was taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead. Specialist officers are providing support to the boy’s family. No other injuries were reported. Part of Southampton Road has been closed while enquiries take place. It is expected to reopen fully tonight. An investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances of what took place.
