Two Black Men In Dark Clothing Are Described As The Suspects. They Are Thought To Have Known The Victim

A man in his twenties was walking down King Street in Gravesend around 10.30 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022, when he was approached by two other men.

They are said to have chased the victim before one of them allegedly used a weapon to stab him twice in the back.

Following the incident, the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment before being released.

Two black men in dark clothing are described as the suspects. They are thought to have known the victim.

A 21-year-old local man was arrested in connection with the incident on Tuesday, August 2. He was later released on bail pending further investigation, and the investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

‘We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to contact our appeal line,’ said Detective Inspector Pete Smith of North Kent CID.

We’d also like to hear from anyone who saw a black Vauxhall Corsa in the King Street area, and we’re asking motorists with dashcams and residents with CCTV to look for any footage that could help.
