The suspected driver of a vehicle involved in a pursuit in west Kent has been charged – UKNIP

 

At around 3.05pm on Wednesday 7 October 2020, a Ford Fiesta is reported to have failed to stop for officers in York Parade, Tonbridge.

 

A pursuit was authorised before the car was abandoned in Vigo Road, Vigo around one hour later.

 

A search was carried out to locate the driver, assisted by a police helicopter, and a man was later arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

 

On Monday 12 October, Peter Taylor of Simpson Road, Snodland was charged with dangerous driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.

 

The 28-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day, where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 10 November.
