Multi Agency Rescue Operation After Young Boy Slips On The Isle Of Wight

A multi agency rescue operation is ongoing after it’s believed a young person has slipped on uneven ground and has substance a broken wrist,near Cowes seafront. Emergency services were alerted just before 4pm this afternoon Friday(13th May),paramedics from Isle Of Wight Ambulance service requested assistants from Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service who have sent a fire appliance from Ryde and a rescue tender from Newport. Coastguard rescue teams from Newport/Bembridge are also assisting in the operation that is still ongoing.
