Gosport Pensioner Daughter Makes Heart Felt Plea to find Missing Mum

The family of a missing Gosport pensioner are appealing for help to find her and get her home. Joyce Crouthers, 75, went missing from her home in Honeysuckle Close at around 4.50pm on Wednesday, August 3. Joyce, who has dementia, hasn’t taken her medication with her and her family are concerned that she may be confused and may not know where she is. Her daughter Julie Bean said: “I just want her home – she is very precious to us all. “Mum can get very confused. She gets frightened when she goes outside, she does not like the dark or public transport. “If someone sees her, Mum is really friendly with people. She’s very smiley, but sometimes can look vacant when she’s confused. If you do see her, take the time to stop and make sure she is ok before calling the police. https:///www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5U0JI5c7Mk “She loves her family and loves her house. She would not go out intentionally to go away from us. We’re really concerned that she has disappeared and we hope that someone can spare a few moments to call the police and let them know where she is.” She is described as: -White -5ft 7ins tall -Medium build -Very short, brown hair which may be greying in some areas -Likely to be wearing dark clothing and carrying a small, dark handbag Inspector Mark Lamper said: “Joyce has been missing since Wednesday, which is very much out of character for her. “Like her family, we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare. She does not have her medication and could be confused. “We would urge everyone to take a minute to look at her picture and the description. If you see her out and about, please make sure she is ok and contact us as soon as possible.”
