Registered sex offender Stephen Gadd fails to report to Police station now want for more Sex offences

Detectives are appealing for help to locate a man who is wanted in connection with an indecent exposure. Stephen Gadd, 51 and of no fixed abode, was due to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday 19 September 2016 charged with an exposure that was alleged to have occurred on Friday 17 June 2016 on Loch Road in Poole. He was also due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 12 October 2016 for breach of post-custodial supervision. Gadd failed to attend both hearings. He is also wanted for failing to report at a police station as part of his requirements as a registered sex offender. Detective Inspector Andy Roberts said: “We have been making numerous active enquiries since Stephen Gadd’s failure to appear at court in order to locate him. “I am now releasing his photograph in the hope that someone will know his whereabouts. “Although we have no information to suggest he is an immediate danger to the public, I would ask that anyone who sees Stephen does not approach him, but contacts Dorset Police on 999. “We know that Gadd often sleeps rough and has connections to Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth and also to Paignton and Exeter in Devon and Brockenhurst in Hampshire. “There may be various reasons why he has not complied with his licence conditions and failed to appear before court and I appeal to him directly to make contact with police at the earliest opportunity.” Stephen Gadd is described as white, five feet ten inches tall and of medium build. He has long auburn hair and blue eyes. DI Roberts continued: “I’d like to assure members of the public that officers are making every effort to find this man as soon as possible. “I’d also like to remind members of the public that all calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence.” Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Stephen Gadd should call Dorset Police on 999.
