Emergency services attended and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene – UKNIP

We’re looking for dash cam footage after a woman was killed in a crash on the A50 yesterday.

At 4.40 a.m. on Monday (13 June), we received a call reporting that a white Ford Fusion had left the road and collided with a tree just off the A50 eastbound carriageway near Shardlow.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

Yesterday, the affected stretch of road was closed for several hours while the collision investigation was completed.

The woman’s family has been notified, and our hearts go out to them at this difficult time.

We want to hear from anyone who was driving on this stretch of the A50 around the time of the collision, especially if they had a dash cam that captured the incident.
