Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious road traffic collision (RTC) this morning in Dagenham, where a woman was left trapped under a vehicle.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:13am at the junction of Kent Avenue and New Road (Old A13). Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) were swiftly dispatched to the scene after reports emerged of a female trapped beneath a car.
The woman was struck and became pinned beneath the vehicle. Firefighters were also mobilised to assist with the rescue operation.
The extent of the woman’s injuries remains unclear at this stage. Police have cordoned off the area while emergency crews continue their work. Traffic is being diverted, and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
