Woman rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries following Westminster Collision

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a road traffic collision in Westminster that has left a woman with potentially life-changing injuries. Officers were called at approximately 5.05pm on Friday, 31 May to reports of a pedestrian injured following a collision with a car in Wellington Street, WC2. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the pedestrian – a 43-year-old woman – was taken to a central London hospital for treatment; her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening but may be life-changing. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was not arrested. Enquiries into the circumstances continue, led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU). Detectives are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident.
