Urgent Appeal Issued After 11-Year-Old Boy Goes Missing in Croydon

An urgent appeal has been issued by the Metropolitan Police after an 11-year-old boy, Harvey, went missing from Selsdon, Croydon. Harvey was last seen at around 9 PM on Thursday, 29 August, and has now been missing for 16 hours.

The young boy was last spotted wearing a black T-shirt with ‘Nike’ written in white, blue shorts, and black trainers. He has curly brown hair, and the police have released a photo of Harvey to aid in the search.

Metropolitan Police have expressed growing concern for Harvey’s safety and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward. South Area Croydon MPS posted the appeal on X, formerly known as Twitter, stating: “#MISSING. Can you assist police in locating Harvey, 11yrs. Harvey was last seen in Selsdon, on the 29th August at 9pm. Any information please call 999 quoting 01/777224/24.”

The appeal was issued at 1:07 PM today, Friday, 30 August, as the search for Harvey continues. His disappearance has caused significant worry among his family and the local community, who are anxiously awaiting news.

Anyone who may have seen Harvey or has information that could assist the police is urged to contact them immediately by calling 999 and quoting the reference number provided. Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

As the hours pass, the police are intensifying their efforts to locate Harvey and bring him safely home to his family.
