Photos have emerged showing a significant police presence in Eastleigh following reports of a stabbing incident involving a man in his 20s.
Authorities rushed to Twyford Road at approximately 7:38 PM on Sunday after receiving reports of a man suffering serious injuries from a stabbing.
A police cordon has been established across the road near the Esso Tesco garage, with both police officers and paramedics on the scene. Residents watched as vehicles were redirected
The incident has led to the arrest of two men. A 47-year-old man from Eastleigh has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, while a 41-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Both suspects remain in police custody as of last evening.
A police spokesperson has described the incident as “isolated” with “no wider concerns for the public.” The spokesperson also urged anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
