Exclusive: Two Men Detained in Weybridge after Hard Traffic Stop by National Crime Agency Officers

Two men have detained in a dramatic traffic stop by officers from the National Crime agency this afternoon we can exclusively reveal. The two men aged 43 and 44 were rammed by undercover officers on the roundabout of Queens Road and Seven Hills Road in Weybridge after the vehicle they were driving failed to stop. It is understood that a Range rover was damaged during the hard stop and support was called from the NPAS from Redhill A source has revealed a large amount of drugs has been taken off the street and two big players have been picked up as a result of the preplanned operation to come and arrested the men who aren’t thought to be local to the area. The operation is understood to be between the National Crime agency and the Met Police. Officers from Surrey Police had to be called in after the vehicle failed to stop and pursing NCA officers rammed the vehicle. A vehicle was recovered from the scene just after 4pm on Friday afternoon. The to men have been taken to Police station in Surrey for questioning. A Spokeswoman from the National Crime Agency said “Today (03/11/2017) at around 4pm, Officers from the joint NCA and Metropolitan Police Organised Crime Partnership (OCP) were deployed to the Weybridge area of Surrey. An individual failed to stop his vehicle when requested by officers and in doing so caused a road collision. Surrey Police officers are on the scene to support the operation and members of the public.
