Tube ‘Attack’ Leaves Multiple Women Injured After Woman Swings Handbag at Southwark Station

The British Transport Police (BTP) have launched an investigation into a disturbing incident at Southwark station, where several women were injured after being struck by a woman swinging her handbag.

The attack occurred in the morning hours, between 9:45 AM and 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, April 2. According to reports, the unidentified woman entered the station and began swinging her handbag, striking multiple women in the face and causing facial injuries.

In response to the incident, BTP officers have released an image of a woman they wish to speak with in connection to the attack. They believe that she may possess vital information crucial to their investigation.

The BTP is urging anyone who recognizes the woman or has information related to the incident to come forward.
