Two Charged over Management of Brothel in Chatham

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate investigating the suspected management of a brothel in Chatham have charged a man and a woman. Officers attended a property in the Dock Road area of Chatham on Monday 20 August at 11.30am. A 39-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of offences related to the management of brothels. Charged Hongman Wu and Yafen Zheng of Barrier Road, Chatham were charged with controlling prostitution for gain on Tuesday 21 August. They have been remanded to appear at Medway Magistrates Court on Tuesday 21 August.
