On Saturday, June 8, a horrifying incident unfolded outside the Ropewalk shopping centre on Queens Road in Nuneaton Town Centre. A 25-year-old man, identified as Tom Ellis from St Nicholas Park in Nuneaton, suffered a fatal stab wound shortly before 9.30pm.

Victim’s Identity and Investigation

With the family’s consent, authorities have formally identified the victim as Tom Ellis. He was rushed to the hospital by ambulance but tragically succumbed to his injuries. A post-mortem examination will be conducted as part of the ongoing investigation.

Murder Investigation Underway

Warwickshire Police have launched a murder investigation, and a dedicated team of detectives is actively pursuing leads. Proactive efforts include reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses.

Arrests Made

Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the incident. Both are juveniles – a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy from Nuneaton – and they are currently held on suspicion of murder.
