Tragic Incident: Woman Dies After Falling from Liverpool City Centre Car Park

A woman has died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Liverpool City Centre.

At approximately 5pm on Thursday, Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, and North West Ambulance Service received a distress call regarding the safety of a woman at the car park on Mount Vernon Street, near the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

Shortly after their arrival, the woman fell from the building. Despite the immediate response from the emergency services, the 29-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. While her death is currently being treated as unexplained, there are no suspicions of foul play involved.

Although the next of kin have been informed, formal identification has yet to take place. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
