In a heartbreaking incident, a one-year-old boy lost his life today after sustaining injuries in a road traffic accident. The incident occurred in a residential area on Quin Road, just outside Ennis, shortly before 12:30

Gardaí and emergency services swiftly responded to the scene after receiving reports of the accident. The young child had been struck by a car, resulting in serious injuries. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, the boy tragically succumbed to his injuries at University Hospital Limerick.
