Harvey Weinstein Faces New Legal Challenges in New York

 

 

The decision to charge was made by the CPS after a review of the evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police during its investigation.

 

The following are the two indecent assault offences, as defined by section 14(1) of the Sexual Offences Act 1956:

 

Indecent assault (count 1) on a woman in her 50s between July 31st and August 31st, 1996 in London

Indecent assault (count 2) on a woman in her 50s between July 31st and August 31st, 1996 in London

All those whose allegations were part of this investigation have been updated by the Met Police.
