A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of another teenager following a stabbing incident in Hackney, London. The incident occurred on Tuesday, 23 July, around 4.00pm in Stellman Close, E5, where emergency services were called to the scene.
Despite the prompt response and efforts to save him, Pharrell Garcia, also 15, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police has confirmed that the suspect, whose identity is protected due to legal reasons pertaining to his age, has been charged with murder.
The accused is scheduled to appear at Stratford Youth Court on Friday, 26 July. This tragic event has left the community in shock, with local authorities and residents expressing deep sorrow and concern over the violence affecting young lives.
