Serving Soldier Appears before Court to Answer Teen Girls Death Charges

Micheal Casey a serving British Army Soldier appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates court to answer charges following the death of two teenager running who where mowed down by a Ford Focus that he was driving. The serving Soldier is accused of Killing two Teenagers Stacey Burrows, 16, and Lucy Pygott, 17, who were hit as they crossed Queen’s Avenue on the evening of November 8th during a training run with Aldershot, Farnham and District Athletics Club They both died as a result of the injuries they suffered. He did not enter pleas to the two charges but the court was told he was likely to enter a plea when the case is next heard at Winchester Crown Court on April 13. He said: “These are dreadful cases, I would like to pass on my sympathy to you. I do not know the incident but I myself lost my brother in a road traffic collision.
