He appeared in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on July 7 and is set to make his next appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court on January 22, 2024.

The investigation into the incident began when police responded to a call at 22:44hrs on June 17, reporting a firearms discharge on Blackhorse Lane, E17. London Ambulance Service personnel also attended the scene, where they found a 22-year-old man who had sustained a gunshot wound.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition. Fortunately, his injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening, and he was discharged after receiving medical treatment.
