As part of their ultra-rapid charging service, Smart Charge, customers can now earn Nectar points while charging their electric vehicles.

- Nectar Points for Charging: Smart Charge customers with active Nectar accounts will receive 1 Nectar point for every pound spent on charging their EVs. This move makes Smart Charge the first EV charging service in the UK to offer a national loyalty scheme.
- Easy Registration: EV drivers without a Nectar account can quickly register via the Nectar app or website or obtain a card in Sainsbury’s stores and register at home.
- Ultra-Rapid Charging Network: Smart Charge boasts over 400 charging bays across the country, providing reliable and easy-to-use charging solutions for electric vehicle owners.
- 100% Renewable Energy: Sainsbury’s commitment to sustainability extends to its EV charging service, which is powered entirely by renewable energy.
- 50th Charging Location: The launch of 12 new Smart Charge EV charging bays at Sainsbury’s London Enfield Superstore marks the retailer’s 50th charging location. Conveniently situated just off the A10, this site caters to EV drivers heading in and out of the city.
