Renewed Appeal in Brixton Murder Case on One-Year Anniversary

Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of 21-year-old Ronaldo Scott in Brixton are renewing their appeal for information, marking the one-year anniversary of his death. Scott was tragically killed on September 4, 2023, near Morrison Road.

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn, who is leading the investigation, emphasized the police’s commitment to bringing those responsible to justice. “Our thoughts remain with Ronaldo’s loved ones,” she said. “While we’ve made significant progress, we urgently need to hear from anyone with information who hasn’t yet come forward.”

Police have reissued video footage and images of two men believed to be involved in Scott’s murder, asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals.

Scott’s family issued a heartfelt plea for justice, describing the past year as “incredibly painful.” They urged anyone with information to step forward, stating, “Our family will never be the same. Please help us get justice.”

The incident occurred at 12:08 PM on September 4, 2023, when police responded to reports of a stabbing. Despite emergency services’ efforts, Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.
