Redcar Police Seek Public’s Help Following Suspicious Activity in Salcombe Way Area
Redcar residents are being urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity following an incident in the early hours of Friday, September 13. Cleveland Police are currently investigating reports of three men attempting to gain access to vehicles in the Salcombe Way area.

According to witnesses, the suspects were seen trying car door handles and peering into vehicles between 02:00 and 02:40. The men are described as being in their early to mid-twenties, standing between 5’6″ and 5’8″ tall, and wearing dark clothing. Two of the suspects are reported to be white males, while one was observed wearing a balaclava.

Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity by calling Cleveland Police on 101. Those with information regarding this specific incident are asked to quote reference number 176397 when contacting the authorities.
