The incident unfolded around 7pm when the victim returned to his catering van and was startled to discover an unfamiliar man seated in the driver’s seat, attempting to start the vehicle. A brief but intense struggle ensued between the victim and the suspect, culminating in the suspect’s unsuccessful attempt to drive away in the van. In the process of the failed escape, the suspect caused a collision, resulting in injuries to the victim.
After the crash, the individual promptly vacated the van and fled the vicinity.
Dedicated investigators are currently working on the case and believe that the person captured in the image may possess valuable information critical to their ongoing inquiries.
