Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Teenage Girl from Maidstone

Officers are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a teenage girl who has been reported missing from Maidstone.

Abigail Oyediran, 13, was last seen in the Chapman Avenue area at around 5 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024. Concerns are growing for Abigail’s welfare as she has not been in contact with her family or friends since then.

Abigail is described as approximately five feet six inches tall and of medium build. She has long, black braided hair and wears glasses. Authorities believe she may have connections in both Maidstone and Stratford, London, and could be in either area.

Police are urging anyone who may have information on Abigail’s whereabouts to come forward. If you have seen Abigail or have any details that could assist in the search, please contact the police immediately by calling 999 and quoting reference 16-1764.
