Police Seek Public Assistance After Dog Attack On Six-year-old In Cambridge

Cambridge police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a concerning incident involving a dangerously out-of-control dog. The incident occurred in Hobson Square, Trumpington, at approximately 16.20 on Friday, September 8, when a black and tan Doberman-type dog bit a six-year-old girl.

The young victim, left visibly upset by the incident, required medical treatment for minor injuries sustained during the dog attack. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident or the individual in the CCTV image to come forward.

The released image is part of the police’s efforts to identify and speak with the man, who may have crucial information regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident. Members of the public are encouraged to report any relevant information through the force website using reference 35/67804/23.
