Police Recover Kia Linked to Crime in Wheatley

A Kia vehicle linked to suspicious activity and multiple crime reports has been recovered by Thames Valley Police (TVP) officers in Wheatley.

PCs Dollery and Woolley were involved in the recovery operation, which took place after the vehicle was repeatedly reported to police in connection with suspicious behaviour — specifically males seen loitering near unattended machinery on building sites.

Following further checks, officers discovered that the car was also uninsured, untaxed, and had an expired MOT, making it illegal to be on the road.

A TVP spokesperson said:

“This vehicle has been involved in multiple reports of suspicious activity and was found to be in breach of several road traffic offences. It has now been seized and removed from the area.”

Police have reiterated their commitment to cracking down on criminal activity and vehicle-related offences, particularly in areas where construction equipment and machinery are being targeted.

Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity to Thames Valley Police on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
