The vehicle caught the attention of response officers on patrol in the Sneinton and St Ann’s area of Nottingham at around 1.45am on Monday (10 July).
When the car was stopped in Manvers Street, Sneinton, one man refused to cooperate with officers and tried to flee the scene by jumping over a wall into undergrowth.
He was eventually detained by officers who found him hiding in bushes.
When officers searched the car they found bags full of the Class B drug and other drug paraphernalia.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and obstructing an officer.
A 20-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl, who were also inside the vehicle, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
Inspector Richard Markham, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Motorists speeding and driving recklessly will always attract our attention and this was a good example of why we pull over vehicles and carry out searches like this
“This was a great result that allowed us to take a significant quantity of illegal drugs off the streets.
“Our investigation remains ongoing and anyone with any information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 45 of 10 July 2023, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
