The M2 motorway eastbound at junction 3 has been closed by officers from Kent Police serious investigation unit after a high-performance  BMW M3  was involved in a life change collision.

 

The silver BMW is understood to have collided with roadside furniture at high speed and rolled a number of times.  on to the hard should and back into the main carriageway. 

 

 

Police Paramedics and fire crews from Kent Fire and rescue were scrambled to the incident that happened near to Rochester airport and n the A229 overbridge on Tuesday evening. 

 

 

A road closure has been put in place to assist with collision investigation work by Kent Police who as using scanning equipment and a drone to assist in the collection of evidence 

 

 

Traffic is being diverted using the up and over method on the effect section of the coastbound carriageway that is like to remain closed for some hours.
