Kent Police are urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating Michael New, an 88-year-old man reported missing from Deal.
Mr New was last seen around midday on Monday, February 12, 2024, near Grams Road. Concerns for his welfare have grown as he has not returned home since his disappearance.
Described as white, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with an average build and short grey hair styled with a side parting, Mr. New was last seen wearing a grey chequered fleece over a black fleece and black joggers. He is known to frequently walk around Deal, although he may have ventured further afield. Additionally, Mr New has been known to travel to Canterbury by bus.
As officers continue their search efforts, they are urging anyone who has seen Mr New or has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact Kent Police immediately. This can be done by calling 999 and quoting reference number 12-1464.
