Patrols Acted Quickly To Apprehend A Man At The Scene Of A Suspected Burglary In Tunbridge Wells

 

Officers were called to a report of property damage in Summervale Road around 7.30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

A man was seen standing near a wheelie bin outside the premises, and when officers looked inside the bin, they discovered a number of power tools.

When the constables went to inspect a nearby house that was being renovated, they discovered the front door had been forced open.

A small amount of cocaine was also discovered, and the suspect was apprehended.

Kalvin Tiernan, of Rowan Tree Road, Tunbridge Wells, was later charged with burglary and drug possession.

The 26-year-old was remanded in custody and scheduled to appear in Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 4th.
