Murder probe after Man found with a number of stab wounds that had taken place in a garage in Greenwich

Police were called at 2.40pm on Wednesday, 10 July to reports of a stabbing at Tellson Avenue, SE18. Police and London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene, a male, believed to be aged in his early 20s, had suffered a number of stab wounds. The incident is believed to have taken place in a garage area outdoors. The victim was taken to a south London hospital. Despite the extensive efforts of medical staff he was pronounced dead at 8.55pm His next of kin are aware. We await formal identification. A post-mortem will be scheduled in due course. A crimes scene and cordons remain in place. At this stage there have been no arrests. The Homicide and Major Crime Command
