• Location: A property on Herringthorpe Road, Rotherham.

• Injuries: The woman was found inside the property with serious injuries.

• Medical Response: Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

• Suspect Arrested: A 56-year-old man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder.
