Midlands Air Ambulance based at RAF Cosford CHelimed 03 has just been called to Alton Towers in Staffordshire It is understood that an incident has taken place in the rapids area of the Park. Paramedics were called just after 1.30pm the theme park. It is understood that a patient a man in his 50’s was flown to the Royal Stoke hospital after having a funny turn on one of the rides within the park.
