In the aftermath of the recent terrorist attack at a music festival in Israel, the Metropolitan Police are now investigating a peculiar incident involving protesters in London. Images circulating on social media depict demonstrators wearing images of paragliders on their backs, affixed with sellotape. The police have expressed their interest in these images and are currently looking into the matter.

Meanwhile the Metropolitan Police has authorised a Section 35 Dispersal Order, effective from 1800 on October 14th until 0600 on Sunday, October 15, 2023. This aims to tackle incidents of anti-social behavior, crime, and disorder.

Amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators have taken to the streets of central London. The Metropolitan Police deployed over 1,000 officers to ensure the safety and security of the march. In light of Hamas being designated as a terror organisation in the UK, the police have warned that anyone showing support for the group may face arrest.

During the protest, flares in the colours of red, green, and black, symbolising Palestine, were ignited along the route. Chants of “Free, free Palestine” resonated through the capital as participants waved flags and held placards.

In response to this event, seven individuals have been arrested on suspicion of various offences, including two public order offences and one case of criminal damage.
