A collision between a Metropolitan Police car and a cyclist occurred on the evening of Wednesday, January 17, at approximately 10.32pm on Bethnal Green Road, E2. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service, in conjunction with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS), promptly responded to the scene to assist.
Assessment of Injuries
Upon their arrival at the scene, emergency responders attended to a 36-year-old male cyclist who had been involved in the collision. The victim’s injuries were carefully assessed, and it was determined that they were non-life-threatening and were not expected to result in any permanent changes to the individual’s health.

A Spokesman for the Met Police said: On Wednesday 17 January at 22:32hrs, a collision occurred between a police car and a cyclist on Bethnal Green Road, E2. Officers alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene, the 36-year-old man’s injuries were assessed and were confirmed as non-life-threatening or changing. Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are on-going. The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed.
