Merseyside Police have declared their readiness to manage potential protests in the area, following a series of recent unrest and widespread online speculation about future demonstrations.

Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims addressed the concerns, stating, “We are aware of online speculation surrounding future protests in Merseyside, and I want our communities to be assured that we are fully prepared to deal with anyone intent on causing disorder.”
