Police were called at approximately 5.15am on Sunday, 15 September, to reports of a man being stabbed on Rye Lane, SE15.
Upon arrival, officers found the man collapsed in the street and immediately performed emergency CPR until the London Ambulance Service arrived. The victim was then taken to the hospital for treatment, and his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made as of yet, and enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
Road closures were temporarily put in place while emergency services attended the scene, but these have since been removed. However, a crime scene remains in place as investigations continue.
