Man rushed to hospital with serious stab wounds

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate investigating a serious assault in Folkestone have made an arrest. Kent Police was called to a property in Biggins Wood Road in the town at 4.52pm on Wednesday 13 June. A man in his 20s sustained serious injuries consistent with stab wounds and was taken to a London hospital where his condition is improving and no longer critical. The victim and suspect are believed to be known to each other. A 20-year-old man from Folkestone has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and currently remains in police custody. Officers remain in the area while they carry out enquiries into the incident.
