Man left with serious leg injuries following Hit and Run collision in Portsmouth

A man left with serious leg injuries following fail to stop collision in Portsmouth Police are appealing for help to trace the driver of a car which failed to stop following a collision with a pedestrian. Officers were called at 1.50am on April 26, to reports of a collision on Elm Grove, in Southsea. A 36-year-old man, from Portsmouth, suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital. The car, which is described as a Ford Focus-style vehicle, failed to stop at the scene. Officers are investigating the exact circumstances of the collision are appealing for the driver of the car to get in touch. If this was you or if you know the driver please contact us.
