Man Hit by Car Outside Clapham North Tube Station

A pedestrian has been rushed to the hospital after being struck by a car outside Clapham North Tube station early this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 7 am near the entrance of the London Underground station located in South London. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, swiftly responded to the scene.

According to reports, the pedestrian was treated by paramedics at the site before being transferred to a major trauma centre for further medical attention.

A video circulating on social media captured the aftermath of the collision, showing emergency responders attending to the injured individual on the road outside Dentons Catering Equipment, situated opposite the Tube station. Concerned onlookers observed the scene as responders worked to assist.

Providing further details, a spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service stated, “We were called at 7:02 this morning (March 31) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian near Clapham North Station. We sent multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer, and an advanced paramedic.”

The spokesperson continued, “We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre.”
